CAMP - TIC 22.2

This year has been quite profitable for us as mentors since we met and unveiled the year 2022 as well as jotted down the remainder of the goals for this year.

First, we conducted a check-in when we asked everyone how they were doing emotionally, physically, and spiritually if necessary. We noticed that we hadn't had so many check-ins in a long time, thus certain check-ins caught us off guard.

Everyone was skeptical of the venue at first, but after a few hours, they realized that the environment was very detoxicating from all of the unnecessary distractions that we usually have in the city, such as constantly pressing your phone to check for a message or eating unhealthy foods like sugar and fizzy drinks.

With that stated, everyone got a positive check the next day. Some said that they slept well and even awoke early to do activities they rarely do, such as trek up the mountain for exercise and pray.

Responsibility has to be one of the most intriguing topics studied. All additional issues, such as financial responsibility and mental health, were included in the definition of responsibility. In this scenario, it is our responsibility to check what we consume in our bodies, whether physically or psychologically, and if we are not satisfied with anything stated to us, it is preferable to address it and vocal it out rather than hold it in.

All days were covered with topics around Habits, Dreams and how they can shape our identity. Group works and individual time to think, reflect and act helped to start focusing on who we wish to become.

On the last day, we had team building sessions where we got to bond with everyone and learn a little bit more about each individual, as well as pose three questions to the person. We also played games that engaged everyone, which was a lot of fun.
